Adventure Puzzle Game
Trail Quest
Part escape room, part geocaching — chase checkpoints and crack riddles across 300 acres of Muskegon State Park.

Overview
For Riddle Solvers And Trail Chasers
If you like the pull of an escape room or the hunt of geocaching, Trail Quest is built for you. It takes treasure hunting and problem-solving out onto the hiking trails across more than 300 acres of Muskegon State Park. Trail Quest isn't about a big grand prize — it's about being active on the trails in a fun way, though that won't stop things from getting competitive. Trail Quest runs during May through October, alongside wheel luge, archery, rock climbing, and zipline.

Brains And Endurance
“Your map will help you along the way with some clues, but this is the game that requires endurance and brains.”
Most participants end up walking 1.5 to 3 miles chasing checkpoints, so you'll get plenty of exercise while you're playing. For students, athletes, and corporate groups, there are real team-building lessons packed into an activity that just feels like a game.
How Trail Quest Works
Trail Quest is typically played with a group. Each team gets a map with checkpoints plotted throughout the Sports Complex, and each checkpoint marks the location of a riddle worth points. Solve the riddle to fill in a crossword puzzle, and see how many points your team can collect before time runs out.
Get Your Map
Each team picks up a map at the lodge marked with checkpoints plotted across the Sports Complex — over 300 acres of Muskegon State Park.
Find The Checkpoints
Follow the map out onto the hiking trails. Every checkpoint you track down holds a riddle worth points toward your team's score.
Solve The Riddles
Work out each riddle to fill in a crossword puzzle. The map gives you clues along the way, but this game rewards brains as much as legs.
Rack Up Points
Collect as many points as you can before time runs out — most groups end up walking 1.5 to 3 miles chasing bragging rights.
