Before ziplining, each participant will go through a ground school and learn about each piece of equipment, how it’s used and proper protocol for activities. Before sliding the luge track, every participant will be coached on proper positioning and steering. Archery participants are taught proper technique well before picking up a bow and arrow.

A: Yes! We have adaptive equipment and protocol for all of our activities to make them accessible to people with varying disabilities. Questions For Your Winter Visit

A: We have indoor restrooms. We do not have additional indoor space for guests in the winter time, however, we provide two warming tents heated with outdoor gas heaters which offer dry space to put on equipment and help take the chill off. We also have a fire garden with several bonfires roaring for a cozy space to stay warm.

A: You will be outdoors for your entire visit at Muskegon Luge. We recommend clothing that will keep you dry and warm. When you overheat from wearing too much clothing you will sweat which will make you colder when you are no longer active. We recommend layering clothing and removing layers when active to prevent overheating.

That said, we do provide adaptive equipment and accommodations for people who are unable to hike, climb stairs or support their body weight on a luge sled due to a disability.
