Overview

Find Your Own Way Up

Our 38 ft. outdoor wall gives kids and adults room to find their own way up — three sides of rock holds for climbers who want to problem-solve their route. An auto-belay system keeps everyone secure at every point of the climb, so the focus stays on the wall in front of you, not the rope. Rock climbing runs during May through October, alongside wheel luge, archery, zipline, and Trail Quest.

Set In The Dunes

“The wall rises right where the dunes meet the trees.”

Our outdoor climbing wall sits inside the wooded dune landscape that runs through the whole park — no gym, no imagined mountain, just the real thing. You're climbing among the trees with the forest around you the entire way up, which is part of what makes reaching the top here feel different.

The Rock Climbing Experience

Every climb starts on the ground, not the wall. A guide gets you fitted, briefed, and comfortable with the auto-belay before you take your first hold. From there, the wall is yours — three attempts, three sides, and a safe way back down every time.

1

Ground School

A guide fits you with a harness and helmet and checks everything twice before you ever step toward the wall.

2

Orientation

Your guide walks you through the auto-belay system and how to climb safely, so you know exactly what to expect once you're on the wall.

3

Climb

Three attempts, your pace. Work the rock holds across three sides of the wall.

4

Belay

When you're ready to come down — top or not — the auto-belay eases you back to the ground.

What’s An Auto-Belay?

It's what lets you climb here with total confidence. The device clips into your harness and uses magnetic braking to catch a fall and ease you back down, taking up slack in the line automatically as you go. Your guide checks and connects it during Ground School, before you ever leave the ground — so once you're on the wall, the only thing to think about is your next hold.

Reach the top, and it lowers you the exact same way — no down-climbing required.
