Every Ticket Goes Back Into The Sand

Behind Muskegon Luge is the Muskegon Sports Council, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit running one of only four public luge tracks in the country, inside a Michigan state park, in partnership with the DNR.

We receive no public funding. The sale of passes and donations from our supporters are what allow us to keep the trail lights on and provide accessible recreation for everyone.

Built By The Community, For The Community

Muskegon Luge is run by the Muskegon Sports Council, a 501(c)(3) non-profit working inside Muskegon State Park alongside the Michigan DNR. We receive no public funding, so every trail we light, every program we run, and every piece of adaptive equipment we own exists because our users and donors choose to invest in it. That's true whether you're buying a day pass, donating $20, or sponsoring next season's programs. It's all the same mission.
