Ice Skating

OUTDOOR ICE SKATING

We've got acres of outdoor ice for skating, hockey and room for beginners too!

Two Acres of Natural Ice

Our ice rink is built with natural ice (no refrigeration). We use snow as a liner and freeze it with water when temperatures drop consistently below freezing. The rink is located right beside our lodge, with space for both family skating and for playing hockey. Skate at night under the lights too! The ice rink and trail are lighted and every evening.

Great Place to Learn How to Skate

Our rink is a great place for first-timers and new skaters to learn how to skate (it's good for rusty skaters too). We have plenty of space for novice skaters to take their time and hang on to the dasher boards. We have skate trainers to push along to help with balance. Ask our rental staff about double bladed skates for toddlers. We also offer free skate lesson on select Wednesday nights in the wnter.

Pond Hockey

We have space for hockey players to get some ice time outdoors. We supply goal boxes and rental helmets and sticks for those who want to try a pick-up game.

ICE SKATING TRAIL

Trail Sponsored by:

Skate through the Woods

Our one-of-a-kind ice skating trail takes you on a 1/4 mile figure-eight loop through the white pine forest. The trail is about 5 feet wide with smooth ice and is lighted every night.

Adventure Mom loves unique adventures. That's why she visited us to check out our ice skating trail. See for yourself how skating through the woods can be a fun weekend experience for your family.
