We visited for the first time this weekend and it was AMAZING. The staff were amazing and the attractions were great. They explained everything so well and we didn’t have to wait for anything! We went on the zip line, roller luge and did the rock climbing! They took pictures of us before and on the zip line then sent it over to us. It was a beautiful and thrilling way to spend our anniversary! We will definitely be back.

GH's Lakeshore Middle School brought 130 8th graders to the park and we had a blast. All the rotations were well-staffed and very organized. The kids got to rock climb, zip line, do archery, a hike quest and tons of yard games. Each station put safety first and explained things so well. The guides that work there went above and beyond to be helpful and caring for each of our students. Great day - thank you very much>

Have a group of 60 planned to attend the luge park for a corporate event. Unfortunately it rained the day we were supposed to be there. The park was VERY accommodating letting us cancel and were understanding of the situation. Would book here again if we are back in Muskegon.

We were camping across the street and ‘walked in’ hoping to zip line. We were advised the last group had gone out, but we were invited to come back the following day. In collaboration with Dan from Muskegon Luge and Lisa from Neil fitness Center, we were able to join a private party organized by Neal Fitness Center. We were treated like we were one of the group from the very beginning and they also worked with me and the special needs I have. We will be back! Thanks again to you all.

We visited the Muskegon Luge Adventure Sports Park for the first time this weekend to zip line. It was my husbands first time zip lining, I have zipped multiple times. I found this adventure relatively tame compared to some lines I've zipped on and a perfect line for a first timer. Even though the zip line was tame, it was ~90 seconds of pure bliss.

The staff was very friendly, professional and thorough. They explained everything clearly and repeated safety instructions whenever necessary.

In addition to the zip lining, they offer the luge run...on ice in the winter and on wheels in the summer. Plus, there are well groomed trails to hike, the blockhouse is a short hike away. And, of course, Lake Michigan beaches are not too far away.

We will be back!

This place is not just for winter!! They have so much going on--zipline, rock wall, roller luge, archery and all the trails! We did their Thursday night summer deal as a date night and had the absolute best time. This place is a hidden gem. The staff is amazing, so many activities, and who doesn't love having an amazing time in the good outdoors. I am telling all my friends and family about this place. You have to check it out.

Muskegon Adventure Park was an absolute blast in the summer! I had a large group of friends who all reserved a couple days in advance. The staff was awesome - they were energetic, considerate, and extremely helpful and accommodating for one of our group who is not able to walk longer distances. They had a spacious ATV to take them to each event as needed. We all did three activities. I did zipline, luge, and rock climbing. We all loved it so much that we're thinking of coming back in the winter to do ice luge! Would highly reccomend for those looking to try some new adventurous activities.

A few extra noted for those interested in logistics: they do reccomend reserving in advance, especially for a group. We hit a rainier weekend so we might not have needed to, even with 9 people. They don't cancel for rain though, just thunder. Ended up being a lovely day anyway, just slightly cooler!

We had to change our summer vacation from South Carolina to Michigan due to a hurricane, and the Muskegon Luge Adventure Sports Park was one of the best/favorite things from our trip. There is something for everyone. Dad loved the luge, Mom & daughters loved the zipline, & boys loved the archery.

The staff was friendly and welcoming, specifically, Gabrielle. We had the opportunity to get to learn about her and her aspirations and were super impressed by her. All the best to you, Gabrielle! Thank you for making our visit a great one!

This is must if you are visiting Muskegon. The staff members are all very well trained, kind, and encouraging. We had so much fun here. We did the luge and zip line, my first on both of them. Our 2 teenage girls did the rock climbing wall and I did the archery. All the staff were excellent at explaining the equipment and making sure we were safe. There was so much to do, you can definitely make a whole day of it.

Such a cool, unique, and fun place! We always look for something different to do instead of the same old tourist things when on vacation. This was it! It was off the beaten path, beautiful park, well maintained, super awesome staff, and not busy at all when we went. I would highly recommend visiting! You can tell the staff really love what they do while working with fellow adventure lovers. The luge and trail quest is what drew us in, so unique.

We had an excellent experIence with the zipline and luge at Muskegon Luge. The guides were friendly and took extra care to ensure everyone felt safe, supported, and had fun! We witnessed the staff going above and beyond to support a family whose child had special needs so that their child could participate in both the zipline and luge experience. Our own kids (ages 9 and 11) loved it and already want to go back in the winter to experience the wintertime luge! I would highly recommend this activity to any adventure seekers in the Muskegon area!

A hidden gem in Muskegon county. Fantastic outdoor activities to explore or just enjoy the wonderful trails surrounding the area and watch people zip line, luge & rock climb. Many other fun activities available too. On site staff was awesome and upbeat. They encouraged you and had a 100% focus on safety. If you live in west Michigan or are visiting I’d strongly suggest a visit. 2-4 hours would be optimal.

This park has beautiful hiking and fun activities to do. I was informed at the front desk that this is one of four places in the nation where you can do the winter luge and the only place in the nation to do a summer luge. We did the summer luge and had a blast! The hiking trails are quiet with fun signs to read along the way. The trails are well marked with maps along the way and a beautiful loop around lost lake. Make sure to stop in the main office for the crossword to help out with the riddles along the way.

We could easily navigate the paths and stairs. The whole experience was very positive! Buying tickets in advance is a good idea because it ensures availability of equipment and staff, as well as, provide ample time to complete the waiver.

Tim and Matt at the archery range were fantastic! They gave our grandson an in-depth lesson and had him having fun, feeling confident and hitting the target in minutes. The range is fully equipped and we'll be going back soon for more practice. I have done both Ice skating and the ski trail's, and I recommend both! Lovely atmosphere, and lit up trials for night time skiing and ice skating. The ice trail is shortter then I thought it would be, maybe 5 - 10 minutes tops to skate around the whole thing. They had plenty of ice on the rinks and found that it wasn't overly crowded. The ski trail's can go on for hours and are both beautiful and scenic! If you find yourself tired they also have many fire pits all over for resting. The rentals and day passes are cheap, but I must warn you! If you want to switch from one activity to another, you have to buy an entirely new day pass!

We were here over the weekend with a group from Indiana. Unfortunately some parts of the park were closed due to the weather not cooperating. We went cross country skiing and it was a really lovely time. The others in the group went back in the evening for ice skating and cross country skiing on the lit paths. From the photos it looked like an amazing time.

The staff were unfailingly helpful and polite. We were there early and the lady in the concessions/pass window chatted with us for a bit- telling us about the park and also that it was only the second weekend they managed to operate this season due to lack of snow.

We very much enjoyed our time here and look forward to coming back.

Fun experience, would go again! Very polite staff. 1 star removed for long lines and long waits between runs. 4 runs at 15s each run and that took 2.5 hrs. It's a great group experience unless you're over 5'11" and then you'll either have to separate from your group or be holding your group back while you wait for the tall person sled.

Very cool 5.5mile cross country ski path. Good for beginners and easy to navigate. 3 stars because there are no signs on the path explaining this is a skiing path and no walking is allowed. Lots of walking trails connect to the skiing path with no warning. the staff and the regular skiers on the path are EXTREMELY rude if you walk on the path. They will be very snotty and petty and just say awful things to you as they ski by. Saw this happen multiple times to older couples who didn’t know, which wasn’t their fault since no signs on the skiing path. Felt really bad for them and asked the staff about putting up some signs but they just rolled their eyes and said “they should just know” 🙄

The most exciting 18 seconds you will ever experience. The coaching staff takes you through all the fundamentals of the luge, to prepare you for your first luge run. The coaching staff and the people that run Muskegon Luge are first class. A definite must on your bucket list of winter sporting activities. Certainly something the whole family can do together. The Luge experience was awesome. The instructors are extremely nice, knowledgeable, helpful and enjoyable to be around. The track is fast. The instructors got everyone in our group to have a successful experience. This is a must-do activity.

As a Muskegon local and an outdoors enthusiast, I recently had the chance to experience the Muskegon Luge Zip Line at the Winter Sports Complex. It's been a hidden gem in our community, open for almost three years, yet it only just came onto my radar. I'm here to tell you, it's an experience you don't want to miss!

The zip line itself is an impressive 1400 feet long, offering a unique perspective of our beautiful landscape. During my ride, I felt a rush of excitement as I reached speeds of nearly 25 mph. One of the highlights of my experience was the staff. They were not only friendly and enjoyable to interact with but also extremely professional when it came to safety. I thoroughly enjoyed my hike through the lighted trails on December 30th. The whole complex is neat and tidy and safe. The trail was wonderful. The lighting was appropriate. Jim and the staff there have done an exceptional job maintaining that facility. Thanks to all of them for their hard work and their vision. What a great experience. Well done.

Dan was incredible. I would be leaving a much different review if it were not for him. He deserves a huge raise and his diplomacy, courtesy, and passion were incredible. He made this experience absolutely worth it. The majority of the summer activities are highly geared toward teens or younger. The roller luge is short curvy(jarring), and a quick stop abrupt stop (potentially painful). The archery is very structured and would be a very good entry into archery. If you've ever shot before you should skip.
The zip line was fun, but does require a hike up one of the more interesting set of stairs I have been on. Be advised.

This is a great place to visit for outdoor enthusiasts and families in West Michigan. The staff was very friendly, and my kids ages 10 and 12 had a lot of fun on the zip line, wheel luge, and rock climbing walls. There were also hiking trails, a picnic area, and games like volleyball, cornhole, and others available to play free of charge. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars was the cost for the activities. To do all the 5 activities, 2 to 3 times was $128. In comparison, for 2 all-day tickets to Michigan Adventure Amusement and Water Park with parking is $110. The cost is very prohibitive for families trying to entertain on a budget, and while we enjoyed our visit, sadly, we are not likely to return.

Absolutely had a blast! This is a great place for family fun! We were camping across the street and scooted over after we checked out. The kids did the luge and we all enjoyed the zip line. The team was so amazing. They are super efficient and did a great job making sure everyone had fun (safely). Recommend for sure!

Such a fun place. The staff is kind, accommodating, and helpful. Our group had people who tried the rock climbing, summer luge, zip line, and archery! We also enjoyed playing the yard games. Definitely plan on giving yourself time to enjoy everything. Hiking trails are free for those who do not wish to make a purchase! Definitely recommend you checking this place out!

I highly recommend! We visited as an extended family and had a ball. The zip line is good for beginners to learn on, but still fun for experienced users. The summer luge (wheeled) was kind of short, and not as much fun for the adults, but the kids enjoyed it.
I also recommend the Archery lessons/range. Very instructional, safe and professionally managed… elementary-aged kids did just fine.

We had such a great time trying the zip line, luge and archery. They have great guides to get you started. I am scared of heights but actually didn't think the zip line was bad at all. You don't even have that dropping feeling in your stomach.

Took 54$ Zipline + 2 activity pass and did luge(3x), Zipline(2x), archery(15 arrows) and trail quest.
Only con was that we have to carry luge cart up the hill to the starting point 3 times.

Attended 2.5 hr evening training session. Excellent fun experience. Daily weather conditions posted online every morning is very helpful, reservation system very easy, staff knowledgeable, helpful and make it a fun evening. The staff take photos of people/groups and send to you for free which is very nice. The luge run is exhilarating! We did one trial run and two timed runs followed by a metals award ceremony which added to the fun. Well designed, planned and staffed.

This place is awesome, year-round! Whether you're a novice or pro, there's something for everyone to get outside and move and enjoy Michigan at it's finest. Have been for archery and hiking in the summer and XC skiing in the winter. Great staff and instructors to get you going and help at any point. Affordable fun.

Only suggestion - the trails were marked much better in the winter during ski season. Definitely got turned around in the summer when the signage wasn't posted.

We came for the luge, but were delighted by the WONDERFUL archery instruction. Thank you, Tim, for your superb instruction and encouragement. It’s hard to find instructors who are so great with little kids, older kids, AND adults!

This is an easy going but fun place to bring your family. We stopped in on our way out of town, and we're pleasantly surprised with how much fun the kids had. We did the luge, zip line, and archery. I was super impressed with the archery, as I had very little interest in doing this to begin with. However, they did a great job teaching both technique and safety, and I'm now a huge fan! Also, I was surprised that you were allotted so many shots given how little it costs . One suggestion I WILL give is to add a flash screen or something on the website ticket purchase to ensure that everyone meets the weight requirements before they are allowed to purchase tickets. I understand safety protocols, but having been only 5lbs over the limit, I was a bit humiliated when I learned at the counter that there was zero flexibility on this, and I was unable to enjoy the experience with my family. (The weight limit IS stated on the website, but I have zip lined in other places, and the limits were either higher, or they had a flexibility of a few pounds so this caught me off guard.) At any rate, I was refunded (also not normally policy) which was fair. In the end, it was a great place to bring the kids, and I felt it was a really great value for the price.

Muskegon Luge was an awesome experience. Can easily spend a full day there. We did the zip lines, archery (beginners welcome, they teach you everything), and the luge. Staff was incredibly friendly and patient. Everything was clean, beautiful area. Also have a large activity area where you can play volleyball, Frisbee, soccer, and lots of other games. We went in summer, also open in winter. Highly recommend!

Would be awesome in the winter for luge but summer was a 40-60 min. wait for 8 second luge. Zip line was great. 2 trips and thrilled me both times. Very professional and safe. 65lbs and up can zip.Suggest buying the combo even if you don't do all activities is $2 cheaper than buying 2 zips. Luge in winter looked amazingly fun.

Very friendly staff and volunteers. Clean facilities on a beautiful piece of property. Fantastic pricing compared to similar adventures. My family stopped by on our way home from visiting the dunes so my daughter (8yrs old) could do the wheel luge. She had an absolute ball! There were so many more activities, summer and winter, that we can't wait to try. Definitely worth making the trip from central Ohio and we plan to go back again soon. Great for families, couples, Bachelor/Bachelorette adventure outing, business/team building, etc...

My family and friends had THE best summertime experience at the Muskegon Luge Adventure Sports Park. You could easily make a day of hiking, taking advantage of a yard full of fun games and the Luge, zipline, archery, and more. Every volunteer or employee we encountered was helpful and kept us smiling and laughing. Even better - everything at the part is adaptable and accessible to ALL. 100% we say to get outside this summer and check this place out! I guarantee you will leave with a smile on your face!

This place is really cool, located right across from the state park campground, they offer a lot of free activities out in their field daily. My daughter also really liked the zip line experience. Will certainly have to come back in the winter!

Went with intentions of cross country skiing but it was icy out and seeing that we have never done it before the staff gave the advice to come back another day for skiing. We took the advice and enjoyed ice skating and hot chocolate instead. Friendly staff and clean environment. So many things to do at this place. Well be back in the future.

Extremely cool place. Today was my first time there and it was sunny and warmer so the ice was kind of soft however the layout looks very impressive. I didn't get to luge however the people that luged all looked like they liked it. I'll definitely go back.

Simply put, it's a magical winter wonderland. The luge lesson gets you ready for a practice run and two timed runs. A medal ceremony follows for the top three in men's, women's, and youth groups. Other activities to enjoy are snow shoe trails, cross country ski trails, and ice skate on a rink or on a trail through the trees. There are plenty of picnic tables and fire pits for relaxing, too. There is a concession stand and a few souvenirs, but I wish they had a proper store.

FIRST OFF I GIVE MY UTMOST RESPECT TO THE STAFF FOR HELPING MY HANDICAP AUNT TO THE LUGE AREA SO SHE COULD ENJOY THE DAY WITH US! YOU GUYS ROCK!! Also for the conversations your staff shared with my uncle! Absolutely enjoyed my day there! We went on the Luge but my son and granddaughter went ice skating. They have a large heated canopy to drink cocoa and an awesome fire pit by the luge. I definitely will be back to go skiing or sledding! There is a lot for a family to do in a day! ❤

We only used the skating rink and trails. It’s the first time we ever skated on a trail through the woods. It was pretty cool. We hope to come back and try the cross-country ski trails someday. The only knock I have against the whole experience is the rental skates. I’ve rented skates many times, but I’ve never had such a hard time finding skates that fit and didn’t hurt my feet. The rental attendant was very patient and helpful, though. I guess the good thing that came out of this is that I’m definitely going to buy some skates for myself now.

This is a wonderful place for experienced and new ice skaters! They have great prices for what they have to offer. The skating track in the trees is amazing. They have multiple areas to keep warm and relax. The staff is super nice and fun!

My family and I love this place! My kids really enjoy the skating and XC skiing trails. Personally, I love the snowshoeing trails through the woods and along the dunes next to Lake Michigan. The staff are very friendly and helpful and make the experience personal. The warming tents are wonderful for taking the edge off the cold and for gearing up. The campfire pits are another nice touch throughout the complex for friends and family to gather around and warm themselves. They even have a sledding hill that kids of all ages can enjoy! While I haven't tried the luge yet, it looks awesome! I definitely recommend this place for families!

Have you ever wanted to luge? I didn’t even have that on my bucket list but can say that I’ve done it. Our campsite was across from this so we decided to check it out.

For $20 per person, you can take three runs down the luge. It was a fantastic morning of fun. Luckily, it was only 72F because it’s hot under those helmets. I was concerned I wouldn’t be able to hear the instructions with a helmet on but the young man was very pleasant and spoke loudly. Basically, you navigate by pointing your toes. Weird!

They also have zip lining but we didn’t have time for that. The pricing is very reasonable. We plan on returning in the winter for ice skating too.
