Donation Request Guidelines
Muskegon Luge and Muskegon Sports Council are proud to partner with other organizations by donating park passes that can be used for fundraising opportunities.
We ask that donation requests are made at least 60 days in advance. Due to a large number of requests, we review all donation requests at one time on a monthly basis and will grant requests at the end of the month.
We provide donations to organizations with shared values as well as organizations serving in Muskegon County. The core values of Muskegon Sports Council, Muskegon Luge's governing body are:
- Community: Fostering a strong sense of community through shared outdoor experiences.
- Sustainability: Protecting and preserving the natural environment for future generations.
- Inclusivity: Creating opportunities for everyone to participate, regardless of background or ability.
- Well-being: Promoting physical and mental health through outdoor activities.
Muskegon Sports Council is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization and therefore will not grant donation requests to indivuals or organizations affilitiated with political activity.
All donations must be used as described by the applicant and donations not used for the express purposes stated in the donation applicatoin must be returned to Muskegon Sports Council.
All donations are made in the form of single use activity passes for either our summer or winter season activities, depending on the season the applicant's fundraising activity is held.
